The levels explained

Basic User (A1 & A2)

A1 (Beginner): You can use basic greetings, introduce yourself, and ask or answer simple questions if people speak slowly and clearly.
A2 (Elementary): You can handle simple daily tasks like shopping, ordering food, asking for directions, and describing past routines or immediate surroundings.

Independent User (B1 & B2)

B1 (Intermediate): You can manage most travel situations, talk about dreams or experiences, and understand clear standard speech on familiar topics.
B2 (Upper-Intermediate): This level is considered working fluency. You can interact with native speakers with ease, argue a point of view, and understand complex texts on concrete or abstract topics.
